Dear Walker Salesperson,
The 2014 Product Guide has
arrived. We have noticed
these guides being well used
in our travels–especially
on dealer counters. We
are encouraged by this,
because the creation of this
guide takes a lot of eort.
However, when we see them
being used in the field, we
know that we have made a
good investment in time and
work. You will notice in this
guide that there have been a
number of updates this past year to our model naming
and horsepower classifications. I would suggest that
you take some time to familiarize yourself with these
changes, and as you do, you may see that many of the
changes are just in the names. We have some visual
changes on the products, but overall the line is close
to what was built last year with the exception of the
new Models MC19 and MT25i.
Also, we have continued to use walkerdealer.com as a
resource for our dealers, and the reports from the field
have been positive. Our sta has put together a solid
presentation of our product that will not only support
the technical needs of our program, but also greatly
assist with sales and marketing of the Walker line. It
is now a useful tool for every part of our program. I
trust you will spend some time in each section of the
Walker dealer web site.
Please also take time to review this guide. We continue
to find that our customers are good students of the line,
and this guide will help sales and service employees
at dealerships stay informed to help these customers.
Walker Manufacturing Company is proud to be part of
your business. I wish you success in your selling eorts.
Sincerely,
Bob Walker, President
